ReplyDeleteThe "outclassed hero" can have some great stories. Batman had fought the super-strong Blockbuster plenty before this issue came out, so this felt like that, giving Huntress a huge challenge, and I'm looking forward to seeing how she handles Grundy in the next issue. Assuming she survives! Those last few panels were extremely disturbing! Yikes!
Speaking of mismatches, this story is a couple of years before some of my favorites: Batman vs The Hulk, Spider-Man vs the Juggernaut, and Wasp/Ant-Man vs Absorbing Man/Titania. What are some of your favorite hero/villain mismatches?
