  1. This issue was published during the time I was buying all of the Bat Books. And yet, I honestly don't recall this story at all. But it has tidbits that became canon for me: Helena as a teacher, Batman "doesn't approve of her methods," etc. But geez, Batman is such a jerk in this story, and this divide between them felt so forced. The really bad thing, is the writers continued to concoct stories that *do* distinguish their "methods" from this point on, for no other reason than to do it.

Thank goodness for Graham Nolan's artwork inside the book. Far more palatable and not "EXTREME" "LOOK AT MY HIPS" of the cover.

Another great episode, Ashford and Diane!
