  1. Hi, friends! I was in the middle of this episode when you shared the link for #48, so I'm still in catch-up mode.

    I agree with AJ that the Aparo cover is great. It isn't one that stood out to me before, but when you give it more than a cursory glance, the composition is really nice and the idea is fun while still relating to the story.

    As for the story, it felt like both a lot and not much happened in those 18 pages. The Halo "spy" bit was fun and the Lia/Brion bit was worrying (I remember nothing of that). I did enjoy the ending and feel like that's the first link in the chain that leads to The People's Heroes, but it's been a while since I read all of those issues.

    The backup story was very slight and Staton's art didn't quite work for me. Wonder why we've been getting these backups...

    Finally, thanks for making me picture my cassette copy of Dire Straits' Brothers in Arms. Might have played that more than anything else in 1985 outside of Born in the U.S.A., which I finally got that year.
