ReplyDeleteI remembered really liking the Masters of Disaster issues and was happy that this first part did not disappoint. Heatstroke is the only one of the MoD whose name I couldn't remember. New Wave's visuals are just so damn cool. Speaking of New Wave...Ashford, you never need to get Sleater-Kinney music out of your head.
That Halo backup was fun and I had forgotten how it tied into the main story. Funny how the meta in the backup was allowed to coexist with the more serious main story. I can't remember if there were more backups moving forward. I guess we'll find out soon, right?
