  1. I haven't read this Black Canary series before, but it is interesting. I found it very similar in story and tone to Chuck Dixon, but the characterization of Huntress quite different, thank goodness. Maybe this series influenced how Dixon would portray Canary when he starts Birds of Prey?

You all had pretty much the same thoughts as I did on this issue, but let me ask something a little different. How did Canary and Huntress do on the "Bechdel test", two women characters having a conversation and not discuss a man or relationship? Obviously the bad guy is a man, and there's a mission, but they do have chances to just talk, like Huntress noting "Is all of Seattle addicted to caffeine?" But I'm curious if you felt the Birds passed Bechdel or not.

Now one point that wasn't clear to me. How did Huntress know Canary's phone number and shop address? Being a great detective? From Justice League files when she was a member? Or something else from this series?

    Great episode, Hun-trio!
