Hello, my Outcasting friends! As I write this it's the day after Thanksgiving and I hope you've all been having a good holiday. I took a nice long walk today to help burn some more calories and listened to much of the episode - perfect accompaniment!
ReplyDeleteI have no recollection of reading this issue when it came out and I should, because it is insane, and not just for the outfits. But wow, those outfits! Or should I say wowee zowee those outfits? Anyway, for a story called "The Truth About Looker Part II," we didn't get any Looker and barely any Emily Briggs (well, we did get Looker's costume). Just an odd story, but it was still enjoyable in large part to Alan Davis doing what he does (outside of those outfits, anyway).
Speaking of Wowee Zowee, any thoughts on the Pavement album of the same name? It's not quite Power Pop Pals, but as we know, AJ confounds the algorithms.
Looking forward to the next issue and the inevitable last straw with Batman...though we do know it's not because he pretends not to be cold. Until then!
