Robin's attitude didn't make sense to me at all. Of course, us readers know there's something fishy about Batman's diary, because we know as a story, the JSA can't possibly be Nazis. So how are we really supposed to seriously accept Robin believing the diary? It's just a bridge too far.
ReplyDeleteWhat else is hard to swallow, Helena and Dick being on opposite sides of the case, while associated with the same law firm and practically siblings. That's blatant conflict of interest, and no judge would allow it. I understand it's for the drama, but it's trying too hard. Sigh.
Sorry to be a downer, you all covered the things I did like in this chapter, like Infinity Inc's cameo, the JSA's side of the past events, and "you can't split an atom." So well done, Huntrio. Looking forward to the next episode!
